“Design in art, is a recognition of the relation between various things, various elements in the creative flux. You can't invent a design. You recognize it, in the fourth dimension. That is, with your blood and your bones, as well as with your eyes.” - David Herbert Lawrence

About

Born in Africa, raised in North Carolina, and of Indian decent, I am a cultural smorgasbord. For the last 7 years, I have worked in San Francisco at agencies that focus on user centered design such as Hot Studio, Creative B’stro and Noise 13 and I have had the privilege of  working with clients such as eBay, NEC, Johson&Johnson, Symantec, Roku, Zone Alarm, SOMA Magazine and Mezzanine.

As the Director of Interactive Projects at Noise 13 I orchestrated information architecture into branded web campaigns, UX driven online experiences for large scale sites and managed day to day operations of the interactive department.

At Creative B’stro, as a Design Director I crafted schematics (IA) and designed dynamic flash sites and applications, database driven websites, interactive demos, and managed a team of eight where I was able to provide leadership, insight on process driven online user experiences and web development. I also consulted clients on the design process, search engine optimization, IA, application development, web standards, best practices and emerging social media technologies.

I am currently employed at Hot Studio, working with a great team and organization.

Specialties:

    Samuel Bayer

God among directors, Sam Bayer, just launched his website. For those who don’t know him, he’s the mind behind such classic videos as Nirvana’s “Smells like teen spirit” and Smashing Pumpkins “Bullet with butterfly wings”
